Structural and civil designs for fabulous new performing arts facility

An important element of the designs were to maximise use of existing site levels to deliver a sustainable and cost effective solution. The result was an outstanding and simplistic design for a new auditorium, foyer and teaching block.

 

A raft slab was proposed to minimise the foundation and a modular steel frame provided the structure for the building.
