A truly competitive streak was evident at a recent PJCE team-building event, with staff members challenged to a 30-minute karting race at Daytona, Sandown, which proved to be quite physical work! Following a 10-minute acclimatisation and warm-up session, drivers were lined up on the grid according to fastest lap time. As the race progressed there were some fierce overtaking and undertaking moves seen as well as many bumps and spin offs!

Congratulations went to Diogo Botelho, who led from the start to win the race.  It was a hugely enjoyable activity and great to get out of the office and take a valuable opportunity to relax and get to know our colleagues in a social environment. A couple of drinks and snacks by the fire in the local afterwards were very welcome.
