Modern accommodation block to create home from home for students

The design approach took account of the constrained construction programme, to ensure the build could be completed over the summer break. A composite steel-frame and pre-cast concrete structure, with pad foundations was used.

 

The exterior used a striking timber cladding, repeated in the new Music and Communications suite.
