On Sunday 26th September, a team of seven plucky PJCE engineers and employees challenged themselves to run the Windsor Half-Marathon. There were many nerves in the days preceding the event, with everyone questioning the level of preparation they had been able to commit. However everyone finished strongly, with director James Bishop leading the team home with a fantastic time of 1.53.17!
After the postponement of so many mass participation events over the past 18 months it was a joy to get out and take part, supporting three local charitable causes in the process. The team were both supportive and competitive and Diogo Botelho narrowly beat John Lange with a sprint to the finish!
Congratulations to all who took part, and we look forward to the next challenge.
